Privacy policy

We only collect what we need to work out your numbers and send you your plan. We don't sell your information, and we don't send marketing emails.

What we collect

• Your answers: age, sex, height, current and goal weight, activity level, and the optional extras (body fat %, where you work out, whether you're breastfeeding).
• Your name and email, if you buy a plan.
• Payment details, which go straight to Stripe. We never see or store your card number.

How we use it

• Free calculator: your numbers are worked out in your browser. Your answers aren't saved on our server.
• Paid plan: when you buy, your answers and name are sent to our server and stored with your payment in Stripe, so we can build your plan and email it to you. We use your email only to send your plan and to reply if you contact us.

Who else handles your information

• Stripe processes payments and keeps the payment record, including your email and answers. See Stripe's privacy policy.
• Our email provider delivers your plan.
• Cloudflare delivers the website and protects it from abuse, so it sees your IP address.
• Google Fonts provides the website's fonts, so your browser connects to Google when a page loads.
• Amazon: some links go to Amazon. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. If you click one, Amazon may use cookies to know you came from us. What you do on Amazon is covered by Amazon's own privacy policy.

Cookies and tracking

We don't use advertising or analytics cookies. While you're paying, your browser briefly remembers your answers so we can show your numbers again when you come back from checkout. That stays on your device and clears when you close the tab.

How long we keep it

Payment records stay in Stripe for as long as we're required to keep them for tax and accounting. Our server keeps short technical logs (for example, that a plan was emailed to an address) for troubleshooting.

Your choices

You can ask what information we have about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing [email protected]. We'll delete what we can, except records the law requires us to keep, such as payment records.

Health information

Your plan is general education, not medical advice. DoMyMacros is not meant for anyone under 18. If you're pregnant or have a medical condition, talk to your doctor before using it.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
